Toph

Finally, I put some colors on this old Lineart piece... I did the line works last year, I was so inspired to draw Toph fan art at that time.

The Last Air Bender is coming this July and I wonder if toph is in the movie, I did not see her in the trailer 3, and I am hoping to see mo-mo also because appa was there :D

Sina Ka Beloy at Aling Ana ay nakatira sa tagpi-tagping barung-barong sa gilid ng pader ng isang abandonadong malaking bahay. Si Ka Beloy ay isang bulag na halos araw-araw ay namamalimos sa tabi ng simbahan o di kaya umiikot sa palengke habang inaalalayan ng asawang si Aling Ana. Mayroon silang anak na mag-aapat na taong gulang na si Boy na parating akay akay rin ni aling Ana.

Napakalikot ni Boy. Balita ko'y makailang-ulit na itong pinagkamuntikang masagasaan ng sasakyan dahil sa kakulitan. Sya rin ay madalas na pinagkakatuwaan ng mga nagtitinda dahil sa kadaldalan kahit bilot pa itong magsalita. Bagamat sya ang nagpapasaya sa mag-asawa at mga nagtitinda sa harap ng simbahan at palengke at itinuturing syang pabigat at dagdag alalahanin ni Aling Ana.

Sa halos araw-araw na pagkakasalubong ko sa mag-anak na iyon ay kilalang-kikaka na nila ako dahil madalas kong naabutan ng barya, pagkain o mumurahing laruan si Boy, Tuwang-tuwa ako kapag naririnig ang boses niyang "Kuya, pengeng pito"

Isang araw ay nakita kong pinapalo ni Aling Boy. Pawis na pawis na ito sa kaiiyak habang panay ang salag sa patpat na pamalo ng ina.

"Ikaw talaga, pulos ka sakit ang ulo ibinibigay mo sa akin, napakakulit mo. Sino nagsabi sau na lambitinan mo yung garapon ng kendi? Nabasag tuloy, hindi natin kayang bayaran yun. Ikaw ang ipambabayad ko. Bakit di mo na lang tulungan ang tatay mong namamalimos, may pakinabang kapa." Ang nanggagalaiting sigaw ng ina.

Pagkaraan ng may isang linggo ay napansin kong di kasama si boy ng mag asawa sa pamamalimos. May sakit daw ito at naiwan sa bahay nila. Balak ko sana syang dalawin pero biglaang umuwi ako sa probinsya. Pagbalik ko makaraan ang dalawang linggo, at may himig pag-aalala na naitanong ko kay Aling Ana.

Asan ho si Boy?, Kumusta na ho sya?

Ito katabi ko at naghahanap buhay na rin. Mahina kasi ang KITA KUNG HINDI BULAG. Ang sagot si Ka Beloy.

Ang umugong na balibalita ay sinadyang bulagin ng mag-asawa ang kanilang anak habang ito ay natutulog upang hindi na sya maging layasin, makulit at sa palagay nila ay marami ang maawang magbigay sa kanya ng limos dahil sa kanyang pagiging bulag.

Ayon sa may-akda:

May mga taong ay tinitignan ay kung ano ngayon at wala silang pakialam sa kinabikasan. Tulad ni Aling Ana at Ka Beloy, ang isang malikot na bata ay itinuturing nilang malikot at walang silbi. Mas gusto nila itong bulagin upang makatulong lang sa kanilang pamamalimos. Hindi man lang nila naiisap na kung hindi sana nila sinira ang kinabukasan ni Boy ay baka sya ang mag-aahon sa kanila sa pagiging pulubi.

Iilang taon nalang ang nalalabi sa pananatili sa mundo ni Ka Beloy at Aling Ana. Paano na ang magiging buhay ni Boy kung wala na sila at walang ibang taong magmamalasakit sa kanya?

Bilang mga magulang ay tungkulin natin ang hubugin sa tamang pag-uugali ang ating mga anak at turuan sila ng tamang direksyon sa buhay. kailangan nila ang suporta para matupad ang kanilang pangarap sa buhay. Kaya habang bata pa sila ay hindi dapat na ipasa ang bigat ng responsibilidad tulad ng paghahanap buhay.

Appleseed Saga

Deunan and Briareos.. a fanart of mine :)

Appleseed: Ex-Machina is really a badass CG-Anime, sci-fi action and cyberpunk movie, Directed by Shinji Aramaki and Produced by John Woo. There's a lot of improvement and repairs many of the flaws of the first film. The story is fuller, the cast is better. Ex Machina feels like more of a movie with a greater amount of depth and complexity. There's also a cameo by the doves, a trademark of John Woo's films.

Anyways, I am recommending this movie to those anime and cyberpunk lovers. XD

Astro Boy! yes it's astro boy, not megaman!LOL..

He is my all time fave anime character..

The first time i saw astro boy was late 1980's at black and white television. I guess I was 5 years old at that time..

Since I've found out that there was an upcoming cg movie for Astro Boy.. I became interested with him again. Yes! because you know.. hmm.. he is my all time favorite, and he is cute.. I am even watching the 1980's series again..

for the upcoming movie.. hoping that it is cute like the 1980's anime version.. and the story ofcourse, I hope they will give a justice for it...XD

Style

While I am struggling to a different style in art, I just tried something else.. I've been practicing lately low opacity and low flow with hard brush and chalk brush, painted style in photoshop.. freehand drawing.. i watched some speed painting in youtube and it's totally awesome..i want to be like them someday..hehe.. but even if what style I'll made through the end, there's 1 style that i won't forget and always be respected.. the Traditional Style.. this the first ever i learned.. it's all started with the traditional method.. =)
Kudos to my fellow artist.. don't stop dreaming.. :)

Iron Man

All Hail Iron Man!!
yes, another fan art for Ironman.. i did this for 3 hours and 30 minutes using Photoshop CS..

hmmm.. it's been a month since when i saw the movie Iron Man in the big screen..

I can't wait for the upcoming DVD copy of the movie.. I must grab 1 and watch it again.. this is the best Marvel movie since Spiderman 1 & 2.. you will enjoy watching the movie from the beginning to the end, its hilarious! even kids would easily understand the every scene and the flow of the story.. the characters performed very well specially Robert Downey Jr...I can't wait for the next Iron Man movie..

Beatles of the Philippines..Once again!!

This is my quick fanart for my childhood favorite band The EraserHeads..


Eventhough i missed watching EraserHeads: The Reunion Concert.. I am still happy that they performed again in 1 stage..I remember when the 1st time i saw the EraserHeads performed when I was in High School (1998) i think so.. it was happened in my hometown(Alaminos City, Pangasinan)

My gf and i was shocked when the news came out that Ely Buendia was rushed out to hospital after the 1st set of the show.. maybe because he is emotionally and physically exhausted.. i know a lot of EraserHeads fans would understand the situation, specially are those who watched the Concert..we all know that Ely's mother has just passed away before the reunion concert happened..

While reading a lot of blogs, news and comments about the concert this morning, many say says "nakakatindig balahibo silang panoorin", yeah i felt the same while watching some of the videos uploaded at Youtube. It brings back my memories to highschool life... EraserHeads era!
